Soyo have world class range of the batteries and is our own manufacturing product. Batteries are available in different ranges and varieties for number of applications.
Soyo offers batteries in number of ratings from 20 AH to 200 AH.
- ✅ Casting/ Containers: Heat sealed & leak proof containers.
- ✅ Positive Plate: Flat pasted type with lead dioxide (PbO) to resist corrosion & for longer life.
- ✅ Negative Plate: Flat pasted type of sponge lead (Pb).
- ✅ Electrolyte: High purity sulphuric acid along with additives to improve heat dissipation.
- ✅ Separator: High porosity absorbent type with low internal resistance. It is used to electrically isolate the positive & negative electrodes. It prevents short circuit through physical contact.
- ✅ Valve: Self releasing, pressure regulating valve.
- ✅ Terminals: High conductivity brass terminals for better electrical conductivity.
Battery Maintenance & Service
A 12V battery usually gives problems in service due to the combination of the following reasons:
- ✅ Overcharging
- ✅ Undercharging
- ✅ Insufficient topping up or low electrolyte level due to leakage in container.
Effects of electrolyte below top of the plates
- ✅ Abnormal sulfating takes place
- ✅ Exothermic reaction takes place
- ✅ Separators get damaged
