INTRODUCTION
In on-line UPS the inverter operates continuously because in online UPS battery power is supplied continuously to the load whether the main power is active or not. It provides constant voltage to equipment. In this UPS switching time (Transfer Time) from main power to battery power is zero because inverter continuously supplies power to the equipment irrespective of mains power.
